Since Harrison is signed up to start playing T-ball this Spring, we thought today would be a good day to start practicing. It didn't hurt that the weather was absolutely beau-ti-ful! We even ate lunch outside on our patio after church.
Harrison trying his hand at batting.
He didn't have it quite right, so Daddy stepped in to help. We decided that maybe the right equipment would help, so off we went to the store in search of cleats, a true T-ball bat, and a batting helmet.
And here are our purchases from the day! We couldn't resist buying the hat for Daddy so that he will match the team. But do you know how hard it was for that tried and true Yankees fan to buy that Boston hat?!? The things we do for our children....
I wear many hats, but the ones I am most proud of are wife, mom, and teacher. I am married to my college sweetheart and the best man ever, Randy, and we have 2 beautiful children, Caitlin and Harrison. We are so blessed by God and try very hard to give back to our community. I teach first grade to some of the best students in the world. Some days I feel like I'm going crazy, but with God's help, I know I can make it!
