Field Trip Take II

My class went on a Field Trip on Thursday also. (Thus the sad feelings about missing Caitlin's Field Trip!) We got to go see the Disney Nature movie, Oceans. We got lucky that it came out at just the right time and became the culminating activity for our Ocean Unit in First Grade.
The kids were so excited to go see a movie with all their classmates and eat popcorn too! The teachers were excited because we ordered a to-go order of Red Robin burgers for our picnic lunch. Funny how your priorities change!

Here is my class posing on the fountain at Bridge Street after the movie. Luckily we had beautiful sunshine for our picnic.
After lunch we played a few games with the kids to get some energy out and then loaded the bus for our ride back to school. I think "Duck, Duck, Goose" and "Red Rover" wore them out...
